AmericInn by Wyndham Cedar Falls

We came to town for a college visit to UNI and it only took us 10 minutes to get to campus. We also LOVED the continental breakfast - complete with biscuits and gravy. We stayed at another AmericInn in Ames, IA recently and, for the price we've paid, it's our new favorite place to stay!

I'm very picking about cleanliness when it comes to hotels and this one was pretty clean! I stayed 3 separate nights in 3 separate rooms and all were clean minus two hairs on one blanket one night. The bathrooms and towels were all clean. I also never heard another person while in the rooms which was great because I'm a very light sleeper and wake to any sound. There were dogs and cats at the hotel but I would not have known except for seeing them leaving the hotel. The beds and pillows were the average comfort for any hotel. There's a microwave and mini fridge (no freezer) in the rooms. I appreciate how the heater/AC has a constant fan option which helps if you need a constant noise while sleeping.

I didn't have breakfast there. The location is great. Honestly the biggest thing for me was having the hot tub in the king suite. I planned a romantic weekend with my sweetheart and we both loved that.

It was so clean, staff was exceptional, and great location!

It was super quiet and not in a loud location
